Although the Xiaomi Mi 6 is unveiled the release date this month on April 16, there is not many leaks that give a detail about the upcoming high-end device. But now, we have a new one.
Today, the Mi 6’s retail box displays a full specsheet on the back, where appear a number: 3000. According to our knowledge, this number might stands for a 30MP camera, and probably the device will come with a 30MP at the back.
That particular detail about the Mi 6 has not mentioned before and we’re not quite sure about this. As you know, Sony used a 24.8MP sensor in its Xperia Z5 series and then on the XZ generations, the Japanese smartphone company even reduced a lower-res 19MP imager for its duo XZs and XZ Premium flagships. Until now the 24.8 is still the largest sensor already (Type 1/2.3″), so 30MP might be either tiny pixels or a huge sensor bringing on lens design and body dimensions. Alternatively, there could possibly be a 15MP dual camera setup on the Mi 6.
That info is not confirmed so we’ll keep searching for that for a couple more weeks. Back to the box, another attractive number is a 4,000mAh battery capacity for the 5.15-inch on Mi 6, which is expected to bring a very impressive battery life. According to earlier rumors, powering the device vice will be the latest 10-nm Snapdragon 835 octa-core chipset inside like on the duo Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+. The image of the box also states that this particular version comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, while a standard 4GB variant should exist as well.
