Apple to open its first retail store in Taiwan


Apple now has more than 400 retail stores worldwide that are selling MacBook, iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and more. Apple never stops expanding the reach of its physical stores in an attempt to bring its products to more customers.

Apple today announced that the company will soon open its first retail store in Taiwan. According to Apple, the new store will be located in the ground floor of Taipei 101. The Cupertino Company has not specified when it will be opening the store in the country. However, sources say that the new store will open next month.

According to sources, the finishing touches are being made to Apple’s first Taiwan Apple Store and the company’s new retail store will feature design that represents the Taiwanese culture. Last year, the Cupertino Company first announced its plan to open a retail store in Taiwan after posting job listings for its store in Taiwan.

Apple is currently selling its products via third-party resellers, distributors and online stores. The Cupertino been busy expanding its retail stores worldwide in recent years. Last year, Apple opened its first retail store at the Centro Santa Fe shopping mail in Mexico City, followed by a new Hong Kong store. Besides, the company has been busy revamping its older retail stores across the US.

Sources say that Apple is planning to open a second retail store in Mexico City. Sources say that the company has secured a lease at a shopping mall in the city. In April, rumors said that the Cupertino Company would also open two additional stores in Brazil.

2017 is a big year for Apple, as the company celebrates 10 years of iPhone. The upcoming iPhone is expected to come with compelling features and changes including OLED panel, wireless charging technology, biometric additions, 3D revolutionary camera and much more. Apple has recently introduced a new 10.5 inch iPad Pro with bezel-free design and new Kaby Lake-powered MacBook Pro models.
