Final Cut Pro X has been available in the market for almost six years. In reality, Apple’s editing apps was met with negative reviews at launch due to its lack of key features and interface changes. The Cupertino Company has been working hard to improve its video editing app for years, so that it can compete directly with tough rivals like Adobe’s Premiere Pro CC.

Last year, Final Cut Pro X received a significant update that included support for the MacBook Pro with Touch Bar. Users can scrub through clips and have quick access to the app thanks to Touch Bar shortcuts.

Apple has been working on improving its flagship professional video editing software for years. Last week, the Cupertino Company hired Tim Dashwood, the developer behind a series of 3D and 360 VR plugins for video editing software, to work on Apple’s future projects.  Tech analysts say that Apple has been developing VR/AR reality technology that may make its debut on this year’s iPhone models.

Tech analysts say that Apple will launch a new iMac for pro users later this year. Rumors say that the new iMac will come with the Xeon E3-1285 processor, 16/64GB of ECC RAM and 2TB of NVMe SSE storage. Besides, rumors also say that Apple is planning to release an all-new Mac Pro with modular design in 2018. It seems that Apple is planning to release a significant update to its iMac lineup, so let’s wait and see.
