Samsung has been working hard to recover its damaged reputation following the unprecedented recall of the Note 7. The South Korean firm took a big step to achieve that goal when it launched the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus this year. The Galaxy S8 Plus quickly tops the list of the most desired smartphones on the market and serves as Samsung’s plan to compete with Apple’s upcoming iPhone.
According to Consumer Reports, the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus officially beats the Apple iPhone 7 to become the most wanted smartphone on the market, followed by its sibling Galaxy S8, Galaxy S7 Edge and LG 6. Tech analysts say that this comes as no surprise, as the Galaxy S8 Plus is Samsung’s latest flagship smartphone and comes with high-end specs.
Tech analysts say that the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus ranked as the top smartphone, mainly because of its stunning design, gorgeous infinity display and excellent camera performance. However, the Galaxy S8 Plus has been criticized for the placement of the fingerprint scanner since it made its debut in March 2017.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus is a huge improvement over the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. Samsung’s flagship smartphone comes with a lot of features and changes such as beautiful design, larger display, Bixby and much more.
Samsung is expected to introduce the next generation Galaxy Note later this year. Rumors say that the upcoming Note 8 smartphone will come with a brand new design, two rear cameras, and a built-in speaker. According to tech analysts, Samsung needs more time to make sure that everything runs smoothly on the Note 8 at launch and avoid safety issues found in the Note 7. The Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus could be the first step ahead of an overhauled Note 8, which poses a challenge for the premium iPhone 8 this year.
